SpineScreen by Shriners Hospitals for Children® offers parents a convenient tool to monitor their child's spine for potential scoliosis indicators. This user-friendly app allows users to scan their child's spine with a smartphone, detecting any irregular curves.

Scoliosis, an abnormal spinal curvature, can impact movement and potentially lead to serious medical complications. Typically diagnosed during periods of rapid growth between the ages of 10 and 15, the cause often remains unknown. Regular screening for scoliosis is recommended as part of a child's ongoing healthcare routine. Parents are encouraged to utilize the complimentary SpineScreen app for annual checks.
